So, as Joe and my usual Friday night snacks which usually include chips and dip, and of course our trip to the grocery store to get all of that (and Joe's usually Red Bull (16 oz) he has to include) we always find ourselves finding new drinks.
Now it seems like the grocery stores have been having A TON of drink options these days. Of course anything with a cool looking bottle, logo, and color of drink always strikes my attention. Especially anything red or blue. Especially blue.
Of course it's half empty because I wanted to try it right away. I had never heard of this amazing blue drink. The first thing Joe and I noticed was the "bits of lemon" that was occurring in this bottle of awesome. As soon as I opened this bottle, and drank some ocean blue lemonade I was in Calypso heaven.
And yet, we didn't stop there with just a Red Bull, Calypso, and I also got myself a Kickstart energy drink. No, we made it to the alcohol section. Mind you I'm not big on alcohol- but I'm always wanting to try new things.
SO THIS HAPPENED.
Joe got a Corona, and I was stuck between a Samuel Adams.. or a Smirnoff. This particular Smirnoff was Cherry-lime. I actually liked the Smirnoff- not too much alcohol taste. Probably something I'd get again. Also, for the price definitely willing to try other type beers. Maybe go for the Blue Moon or Samuel Adams.
